Recent reports suggest that Vince McMahon and company are extremely high on Almas, which is why he has been booked so strongly on television. Almas has held his own against the likes of Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles in the first few months of his main-roster debut, which is a massive achievement for a young talent.
Although WWE seldom does heel vs heel feuds, I think that Almas could very well be the next US Champion, given that WWE management is so high on him.
