#3 Who will replace Seth Rollins?

For a moment, let’s assume that Seth Rollins is a heel now. He’s betrayed his friends and now, he has become the same old person who does things for himself only. The question thus becomes: Who will replace Seth Rollins as the face of RAW?

We are assuming that your answer is Rusev or Kevin Owens since they are probably most over after Rollins on RAW. But they may not the best fit to become the face of the Red Brand, and here’s why.

At Starrcade, Rusev received a great amount of support from the WWE Universe but it isn’t likely that Vince McMahon will push him greater height due to fan popularity alone. The past is proof of that, specifically when Rusev Day took off. The live crowds loved it and they sold a ton of merchandise, but WWE never decided to push him further up on the card -- in fact, he never actually turned babyface! On the other hand, Kevin Owens, even though he’s amazing as a promo and an in-ring performer, is still not ready to become the face of RAW. There’s still a lot of work that needs to be done to his current character as a good guy. For the majority of the time, Owens has spent his days as a villain and if all of a sudden, WWE will push him as the face of RAW, it could go poorly.

The best thing to do, right now, is to wait until Owens’ character is ready for this role. There are other strong Superstars on the RAW roster as well, but they aren’t likely to replace Seth Rollins.
