#3 Vince McMahon does not see anything special in Elias

Elias was literally buried tonight
Elias was literally buried tonight

Although Vince McMahon has addressed him as SmackDown's biggest acquisition, The Chairman of the Board has never truly catapulted Elias as a major star.

Judging by how his career on the main roster has shaped up, his in-ring statistics only justifies that he may never be given the position that he deserves.

The Drifter was scheduled to lock horns with Roman Reigns tonight and while he did get the upper hand on The Big Dog backstage, he was squashed in merely nine seconds, courtesy of a spear from the company's poster boy.

Even if we all knew that The Roman Empire was bound to stand tall at the end of the night, one can't deny that a proper creative finish could have protected Elias' already depreciating stock on the main roster.

Whether we like it or not, we may never see someone like Elias become a World Champion under Vince McMahon's supervision.
