#1 Buddy Murphy shouldn't get attacked in the backstage area (again)
The former Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy made his SmackDown Live debut after the Biggest Party of the Summer. Murphy made a sumptuous debut against Roman Reigns last week as they delivered a brilliant match. Despite losing the bout, Murphy certainly made an excellent first impression.
Buddy Murphy faced another big name this week. Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan fought the former Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy and the latter picked up his first win on the Blue Brand. It was an extraordinary match as the two men are extremely proficient in the ring. It was a massive victory for Murphy and the company has big plans for the talented Australian Superstar.
Though Murphy appeared strong in the ring, he looked frail in the backstage segments. At first, Murphy was questioned by Reigns in a backstage segment and he was tossed around by the Big Dog. Also, Murphy got assaulted by Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan for two consecutive weeks. Murphy was attacked by Rowan and Bryan after the former Cruiserweight Champion pinned Bryan this week. The continuous backstage assaults shouldn't happen as Murphy's character might appear weak despite his performance in the squared circle.
