On 16th April, he had defeated Jinder Mahal and won the United States Championship. Since then, he has successfully defended the title against the Modern-day Maharaja and Randy Orton in televised events.

It looked as if he would qualify for the Money in the Bank match. However, Miz would "no-sell" the Swanton Bomb and pin him to advance. But, what does WWE have next in store for him? Here, we predict four booking options for Jeff Hardy.

Let's say Jeff Hardy starts his "Open Challenge" gimmick next week at Smackdown and opens the show. A salsa music plays in the background, and here comes Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega. The month-long hype surrounding his debut would be perfectly fulfilled.

The 28-year-old Mexican could even win the title with Zelina's interference. A shocking debut, new champion, and the babyface protected. Three birds with one stone!

These two are no strangers to each other as they worked with each other numerous times at TNA. However, they never had a proper lengthy feud. Jeff's high-flying style of wrestling would complement Joe's grappling style fittingly.

We know that Joe should be in the WWE Championship race. However, it looks like Styles and Nakamura have a long way to go. Till then, he can take care of Jeff Hardy.

Like Andrade Almas, SaNity too has been missing from Smackdown and NXT. They were a destructive unit in the NXT locker room having feuded with Tye Dillinger, Authors of Pain and Undisputed Era. What better way to debut than to ambush Jeff Hardy on Smackdown.

Paige would later announce that they would face Jeff Hardy in a 6-Man Tag Team Match at Money in the Bank. The anonymity surrounding his partner would stretch all the way up to the show. Finally, the Usos would be revealed as his partner.

The team of Usos and Jeff Hardy could do wonders against SaNity. Moreover, the Usos have been left stranded after their feud with the Bludgeon Brothers got over. So, why not align them with Jeff Hardy?
