Finn Balor, like Rey Mysterio, is a very popular figure among the WWE Universe, and has been a babyface in his entire WWE run. The former Universal and Intercontinental Champion was not always a babyface as he was a heel in NJPW as the leader of the Bullet Club.

But over on WWE, he has been a babyface, even when he teamed with former Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, who are, incidentally, with another former Bullet Club leader AJ Styles. Styles, Anderson and Gallows recently turned heel and call themselves The OC, aka Original Club.

Balor explained the differences between his NJPW run and WWE run, and revealed what separated the Balor Club and Bullet Club apart. “Yeah, I feel the club for me has really evolved since what it was in Japan. You know Bullet Club came from a very dark place in my personality and probably a dark time in my life where I wasn’t really happy with where I was.

"I feel like Bálor Club now has kinda gone in a separate direction, I’m trying to spread more positivity and equality for everyone. So I feel that, although we all came from the same place we’re definitely going in different directions and I’m happy with the direction I’m going in now that’s for sure," said Balor
