WrestleMania 34 is less than two weeks away.

In less than two weeks' time, WrestleMania 34 takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the city of New Orleans on April 8. WWE's annual flagship show is fast approaching, and looking at the current storylines, some twists and turns are bound to happen.

The day of WrestleMania brings with it a surprising turn of events. Legends return, titles change hands, and a lot of babyfaces turn into heels and vice versa. The crowd will be excited, and one is certain to expect a lot of fireworks, both literally and figuratively.

This year is no different. We might get to see a few fan-favorite wrestlers embracing their dark side, and create a huge swerve moment in front of thousands of people.

Here are four Superstars who should turn heel at the grandest stage of them all.

#4 Finn Balor

The Balor Club
The Balor Club

Finn Balor has been one of the fan favorites in WWE ever since he signed with the company. He had the longest reign as the NXT Champion and even became the first wrestler in WWE history to win a world title in their pay-per-view debut after becoming the inaugural Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016. However, he relinquished the title a day later due to a shoulder injury.

Since returning from the injury, Finn has never been near to the main-event scene. His feud with Bray Wyatt was a failure which only dropped him to the mid-card status.

Balor has been one of the most effective babyfaces; the crowd really loves him and want him to be one of the top guys. His face run isn't earning him any push, and maybe it's time to revamp his character a little.

Balor is set to face The Miz and Seth Rollins for the former's Intercontinental Championship in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 34. While he may not be the favorite to win the title, a little assistance by Gallows and Anderson would make him an instant villain.

A heel turn will be a refreshing start for Balor and add a lot of dynamics to his character. The OGBC (Original Balor Club) can go on to become a dominating heel stable just like The Shield or The Wyatt Family. This way, Balor can finally make his return to the main-event program.

AJ Styles is rumored to move to Raw after WrestleMania. A reunion of the complete Club could create chaos and set up a feud between two ex-leaders. Styles is the biggest babyface in WWE right now, and with Finn as a heel, the two would put on a phenomenal rivalry. Even Balor's demon persona would work much better as a heel, as it will push boundaries for his character.

#3 Randy Orton

Orton needs to turn heel.
Orton needs to turn heel

Randy Orton has been one of the most consistent performers in WWE today. A career spanning more than 15 years, Orton is a 13-time World Champion, and recently even completed his Grand Slam when he won the United States Championship at Fastlane.

Orton is one of the most exciting performers on the roster, but his current babyface stint hasn't been very compelling. The Viper is at his best when personating a villain character. Whether it's his alliance with The Authority or the "legend killer" gimmick, there’s no denying that being a heel brought him the most success.

Randy Orton is scheduled to defend his United States Championship in a triple threat match against Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal. While the story leading to the match has been a complete lackluster, Orton's sudden heel turn at the grandest stage would provide a little excitement to the angle.

Orton expressed his desire to become a heel again:

"I love it and I'm gonna use that, hopefully sooner than later when I turn heel again because I'm sick of this babyface thing, that's for sure"

A heel turn for Orton will finally get him out of the vanilla character that he portrays as a babyface. The Apex Predator can even go ahead and fight for the WWE Championship against the winner of AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. Orton being a heel world champion is always a lethal force to deal with.

#2 Roman Reigns

The New Paul Heyman Guy?
The New Paul Heyman Guy?

Roman Reigns debuted in WWE as a heel alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as a part of The Shield. Since the group broke up, WWE has been trying to set Reigns up as the top babyface of the company. The WWE Universe hasn't been kind to him, and he gets booed nearly everytime he steps into the ring.

The spot for the top heel in the WWE is still vacant. Roman Reigns is set to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. Now just imagine, Reigns wins the title - with the help of Paul Heyman! This way one gets to see the Universal Championship every week, and you get a new big bad heel in town.

Let's face it, someone who "retired" The Undertaker at WrestleMania cannot remain fan favorite as a face. Quit pretending he’s some kind of a likable underdog, and cut him loose as a dominating, cocky, and ruthless monster.

Roman has failed to find traction as a babyface, and a much-awaited heel turn will be a fresh page in his chapter. The Big Dog is a great in-ring worker, and a heel turn is what Roman needs for him to win over those who detest him. Roman as a villain with Paul Heyman by his side on a weekly bases would be a high point every week.

#1 John Cena

Cena mocked Taker by sitting upright in his fashion.
Cena mocked Taker by sitting upright in his fashion.

John Cena has been the face of WWE for around 15 years. He may have started his career as an obnoxious heel, but WWE realized the potential of The Franchise and turned him into a babyface. Cena has since then gone on to become the most popular face in WWE history, but his recent run in the company has just become plain. His character now seems stale and unappealing.

Cena has never turned heel since his initial run of 2002-03. With the dream match between Cena and The Undertaker finally happening at WrestleMania 34, the WWE might be looking for a swerve.

The Cenation Leader has been calling out Taker for three weeks, but The Deadman hasn't responded yet. With each promo getting nastier week by week, Cena has insulted not only the character but also the man in The Undertaker.

The match between two of the greatest performers in the sports-entertainment industry could see John Cena embracing his negative side for once. The Undertaker needs to win his final match, and Big Match John on the losing side could finally vent out his frustrations and create the biggest shocker in WrestleMania history.

Cena turning heel will open a plethora of angles. WWE can try to set up a younger talent like Seth Rollins or Johnny Gargano whom Cena can put over, and get the "bury young talent" label finally removed. A heel Cena would be immediately interesting to fans and depending on how the WWE books his character, it could extend his career for another few years.
