4 impending WWE Superstar retirements that will leave the WWE Universe in tears...

#2 John Cena

It will truly be a sad day when we see the last of John Cena in WWE...

Love him or hate him, the 16-time World Champion John Cena has unquestionably carried the WWE through many tough times for much of the past decade and a half. John certainly dedicated a large chunk of his career to the WWE, and he was about the most loyal employee Vince McMahon could've ever asked for -- a true "WWE guy" for life.

However, as the years continue to press on, John Cena has been slowly fading out of the wrestling spotlight, and he is no longer the face of the company -- that position has now officially been taken over by "The Big Dog", Roman Reigns.

While John Cena has stated that he never intends to fully "retire" from WWE, the in-ring days of John in sports entertainment are limited to say the least. John is exhausted from the strenuous WWE travel, and he is enjoying time out of the ring to pursue other career aspirations -- basically, following in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's footsteps as an actor.

John Cena has undoubtedly earned his retirement, and when he decides to call it quits (very likely before 2020), the WWE Universe will be rocked and left in tears...
