WrestleMania is the grandest event of WWE held in the month of April every year. The WrestleMania weekend which includes WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, NXT Takeover, WrestleMania, RAW, and SmackDown Live is one the of best revenue generating models in the world. A lot of cities wish to host the grandest event of WWE and New Orleans was the lucky city to host the event last year.

WWE and Vince McMahon have been trying hard to crack the Indian market and possibly the best step to break into it would be hosting the WrestleMania event in the country. While WWE has never hosted the event outside America, they could do this to capture the attention of one of the most populous nations of the world. This would give WWE plenty of new fans and the entire Indian nation would sent into a frenzy with the news of hosting WrestleMania.

The company hosts the mega-event usually at outdoor stadiums with a huge seating capacity. Here are the 4 Indian stadiums which have the ability to host the Show of Shows.

The multipurpose stadium at Delhi was renovated in 2010 due to the Commonwealth Games and has ever since been one of the most iconic stadiums of the country.

It is the home of the Indian football team and Delhi Dynamos FC but is used for concerts and other events as well. It has a seating capacity of 60,000 which can be expanded to 100,000 which is almost perfect to host a WrestleMania.

The nation's capital has been the host various WWE Live Events in the past and the RAW roster of the company had performed at Delhi in 2017 making it one of the prime locations to host WrestleMania.

#3 Dr D.Y. Patil Stadium, Mumbai

WWE can opt for a new option as Delhi has previously hosted WWE events and the response there has been quite mild. Mumbai could be the next best choice for Vince McMahon to conduct WrestleMania as they could host the mega event at the 55,000+ fans holder Dr D.Y Patil Stadium. One of the reasons why fans would also prefer watching WrestleMania at Dr D.Y Patil Stadium is that the stadium does not have any pillars and provides the fans with entertainment without any adjustments or obstructions.

Hosting the WrestleMania weekend in Mumbai, WWE could also host the RAW, SmackDown and NXT Takeover at the Dome where Pro Kabaddi League team U Mumba plays its home matches. The New Day, Triple H and Braun Strowman had recently visited Mumbai for a promotional tour and were met with a thunderous response.

Referring to the recent WWE Super Show Down which took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, WWE would love to host WrestleMania at a stadium which beats the MCG in terms of seating capacity. The stadium at Ahmedabad, which is currently under construction is expected to have a seating capacity of 1.1 lakh fans. India has tons of WWE fans and Vince McMahon could make loads of money by hosting WrestleMania at such a grand stadium.

The Hall of Fame Ceremony, NXT Takeover, RAW and SmackDown Live could be held at the Arena by Transstadia which hosts Kabaddi in Ahmedabad. The city of Gujarat is one such region which has been unexplored by the WWE as very few times have they visited India's business capital. Gujarat can be a huge market for WWE and organizing WrestleMania there could be their biggest masterstroke.

Kolkata had previously hosted WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio for a promotional event and has a huge number of WWE fans.

While the MetLife Stadium of New Jersey will host the next edition of WrestleMania in 2019 but given that the company has always had an eye on India, they would host their grandest event in the country sooner rather than later.
