4 Possible Reasons why Sami Zayn was seemingly written off Monday Night Raw

#1. Sami Zayn needed to be written off TV because of Saudi Arabia

Sami Zayn has made it clear that he's from Montreal, Canada but what hasn't been made public information is the fact that Zayn is of Syrian descent which means that he can't actually head over to Saudi Arabia with WWE.

Over the past year, WWE has been able to write Zayn off WWE TV when Saudi Arabia shows are coming up because he can't be part of the event with last year seeing the star struggling with vertigo, before he was then on the injured list ahead of Crown Jewel.

This could be a way for WWE to write Zayn off WWE TV for the next month so that he can then make his return to WWE TV following the upcoming event on June 7th and open up an interesting feud with Braun Strowman.
