The Irish Lass Kicker was in the best run of her WWE Career, but an untimely injury to her has led to the SD Live Women's Champion being written off TV for a while. Becky Lynch was all set to battle the RAW Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, in one of the most anticipated matches of the year at WWE Survivor Series.

WWE Creative had built up the match in one of the best ways possible, but an accident during SD Live's RAW invasion led to the match being taken off from the match card of the inter brand warfare, much to the disappointment of the WWE Universe.

Nia Jax hit Becky Lynch so hard that Becky suffered a concussion after the match, and was even bleeding during the invasion segment. However, looking at the way events have turned out since Becky's injury, it seems like this injury angle was a work.

Here are 4 reasons why Becky Lynch's injury seems to be just a work.

#4 Instead of being punished, Nia Jax has been booked to be the #FaceBreaker on RAW

Why would you reward someone who took out your best superstar with a 'sole survivor' finish?
Why would you reward someone who took out your best superstar with a 'sole survivor' finish?

Well, let me first take you back to June 2018 when Jinder Mahal was feuding with the golden boy of Vince McMahon, Roman Reigns. The two even had a match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view where Reigns emerged victorious, but that was the last we saw of Jinder portraying The Modern Day Maharaja gimmick.

All of a sudden, he returned to his old 'Shanti' gimmick, the reason being revealed that Jinder failed to get Roman over with the crowd, and as a result was buried on TV from a former WWE Champion to a jobber.

Nia Jax took out the best superstar of the WWE whom fans were considering as the next face of the company, yet she has been booked to embrace the heat, and has continued to be the #1 contender despite the public backlash. If this injury was an accident, the WWE backstage officials would have buried Nia to the ground, but that isn't the case here.

#3 RAW was going to clean-sweep SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, and WWE Creative would have been blasted by the WWE Universe had Becky lost

There would have been a riot had Becky lost at Survivor Series
There would have been a riot had Becky lost at Survivor Series

Becky Lynch was by far the most over superstar in the entire WWE during the build to Survivor Series, and her performance during the invasion made the entire WWE Universe her fans.

However, RAW was supposed to clean sweep SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, as Shane McMahon had stolen the World Cup from them, and the creative always wants the fans to believe that RAW is their A show.

If Becky Lynch was a part of this pay-per-view, for the score-line to be 6-0 she had to submit, or had to lose her match against The Baddest Woman on the Planet. And looking at the way she gained the upper hand at the go-home show, the IWC smelled a Ronda Rousey win (as has been WWE's booking pattern), which would have definitely led the fans to riot since Becky was too strong and popular to lose.

#2 WWE Creative wants Charlotte Flair to be the first woman to defeat Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring

Maybe the WWE Creative does not want Becky to look stronger than Charlotte Flair

It is no secret that The Nature Girl is the daughter of the 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair, and has always received strong booking from the WWE Creative team. She has emerged as the most successful of the Four Horsewomen, and just when Becky Lynch was about to overshadow her, the WWE Creative pulled the brakes on Lynch's push.

Ronda Rousey is UFC's greatest female athlete, and thus the backstage officials want her to taste her first defeat at the hands of WWE's greatest female superstar, Charlotte Flair. Looking at the WWE MMC II's booking, it looks like Charlotte will win the Royal Rumble by entering at #30, and challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's title at WrestleMania 35.

#1 What was Charlotte going to do had Becky Lynch not been injured during the invasion?

WWE were certainly not planning a Survivor Series without Charlotte Flair
WWE were certainly not planning a Survivor Series without Charlotte Flair

WWE hinted a big storyline with Charlotte Flair as its protagonist when she declined the offer to be a part of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series on WWE TV. It certainly wasn't that WWE Creative were planning to host a "Big 4" pay-per-view without their top female star.

It seems like WWE already had planned a "Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey" match for Survivor Series 2018. There's no reason why Charlotte was not made a part of that 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series match.

The only reason she wasn't included is that she was set to be a part of a bigger match at the inter-brand warfare. There's no co-incidence here between Becky's injury and Charlotte's absence. It all looks like a work now.
