With the Hardyz vacating the championships last week, the division is seriously lacking good teams at this moment. The only credible team that could have been the champions were Heavy Machinery, but they are being built in a rather crowd-amusing way for the last couple of months, leaving WWE with no choice but to crown Bryan and Rowan as the new champions.
Whether they have a good reign or will be transition champions is something that only the coming weeks will tell us.
