Something pretty obvious from Dean Ambrose's interview on Chris Jericho's podcast was that he had next to nothing creative freedom in the company. The wrestlers in WWE, from the looks of it, don't have much of a say. Whether it be in terms of how their character is built or the direction in which they want to take or even the lines that they have to speak.

They are just given the script and they have to turn up and perform, with them keeping their wits to one side. As Jon Moxley stated, WWE had become such a bad experience for him because he just couldn't be himself and kept getting typecast into something he was just not.

In AEW, even in just one or two promos that he has done, Jon has shown such an amazing side of himself, such edge, such charisma which he was just not able to show when he was part of the WWE. At AEW, at least by the looks of it, Jon will get a chance to explore himself, learn from the best in Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho and grow to unprecedented levels.
