Many former main roster Superstars have visited NXT or returned to the territory. Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, and Cesaro have returned to NXT for cameo matches. Now we have seen the return of Tyler Breeze, Fandango, and Finn Balor back down to NXT, there is an easy way for the WWE to include NXT in future Drafts or Superstar Shake-ups.

WWE has been able to move wrestlers to NXT, and not just bring NXT wrestlers to RAW and SmackDown. It often feels like NXT needs to constantly refresh its roster after a draft, due to many top performers moving on to Raw or Smackdown.

The idea of involving NXT in any subsequent Draft or Shake-up will mean that there isn't a talent drain like the one NXT has found itself in the past. The 2016 Draft saw NXT lose Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Carmella, and Mojo Rawley. The 2018 Superstar Shakeup saw NXT lose Ricochet, Aleister Black, The Viking Raiders, EC3, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, and Heavy Machinery.

Thankfully, NXT has managed to get a steady stream of incoming talent, but sending wrestlers the other way could help things as well.
