When it comes to stables and groups in WWE, none have been more prominent in recent times than The Shield and The Four Horsewomen. Ever since the Hounds of Justice made their debut, it was evident that WWE were building up the next batch of top superstars for the company.

The hype may have been less similar for The Four Horsewomen, but given all the rumors of a WWE vs MMA Four Horsewomen encounter down the line, things might get hyped beyond limits. But why was there such a hype in the first place?

When Sasha, Bayley, Charlotte, and Lynch formed the aforementioned stable, they were seen to be the women that will pave way for a modern legacy of female superstars that will define the women's revolution in WWE. And why not? The amount of talent and skill these four women possess haven't been matched by any other individual or group that joined NXT ever since.

As for Sasha, this may have ultimately led to her disappointment. Just like Dean Ambrose in The Shield, Sasha was overshadowed by the likes of Charlotte and as recently as Becky Lynch, who are now the top two women in WWE. Too much hype killed her momentum on the main roster.
