WrestleMania 35 is only two months away. This year's mega event will be taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is just a few days away as it will be the first stop to "The Road to WrestleMania".
There have been various rumors on different matches which are expected to take place at WrestleMania this year. The rumored main event is expected to be a triple threat match between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Title. Also, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar's rumored opponent is Seth Rollins who is expected to win the men's Royal Rumble Match
Here are five new rumored matches which could take place at Wrestlemania 35...
#1 Sasha Banks and Bayley (c) vs. Trish Stratus and Lita - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match

After being rumored for so long, finally, WWE Women's Tag Team Titles were introduced by Alexa Bliss last week on Raw.
It was also announced that the new champions will be crowned next month at Elimination Chamber with three teams from Raw and three from SmackDown will participate inside the chamber itself.
Currently, the rumored winners of the titles are Sasha Banks and Bayley, their first title defence is expected to be against Trish Stratus and Lita who have been expected for months to be involved in some sort of tag team match at this year's WrestleMania.
#2 Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Kevin Owens - Intercontinental Championship Match

Kevin Owens is expected to return soon. He has been reportedly losing some weight for his in-ring return. It is rumored that he will face Bobby Lashley for Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 35.
Lashley became Intercontinental Champion just last week by beating champion Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match on Raw. KO might return as a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match itself and could begin a feud with The Dominator.
The storyline would make sense since it was Lashley who injured Owens on Raw a few months ago. But some sources have also reported that WWE doesn't want Owens to return until after WrestleMania 35.
#3 Dean Ambrose vs. EC3

Dean Ambrose lost his Intercontinental Title to Bobby Lashley last week on Raw. After being champion for nearly a month this was another devastating blow in Ambrose's run as a heel.
Since Ambrose has turned heel, things have not been going his way. The backstage promos have really impacted the audience but his in-ring work has been lackluster. It was reported Vince McMahon was furious with his match with Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC 2018.
Now, it's rumored that Ambrose will face EC3 at WrestleMania 35. EC3 has yet to debut on the main roster, but he was advertised as one of the superstars coming from NXT last month. This match could begin to build at the Royal Rumble itself if WWE decides to debut him at the event.
A match with former WWE Champion at WrestleMania could be a great beginning for EC3's main roster career.
#4 AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

AJ Styles will collide with the current WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble. He is expected to lose this match because Bryan's heel turn has been working really well for the company. So, WWE might keep him champion until WrestleMania season.
As for Styles, his rumored opponent for WrestleMania is none other than 13-time World Champion Randy Orton. They have faced before once on SmackDown but never had a long feud after being on the same brand for three years.
It will be a right step from WWE's side because Styles was WWE Champion for one straight year, and other stars such as Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, Rusev etc. deserve an opportunity to get into WWE Title picture.
Also, Orton makes a great heel and Styles is a fan favorite, not only that but both are great in-ring competitors. So, it would be an exciting feud for the fans.
