4 shockers WWE could be planning on the final RAW before WrestleMania 35 (1 April 2019)

What twists and turns await?
What twists and turns await?

Only one RAW is left before the Showcase of Immortals, and the excitement has sky-rocketed. The WrestleMania season has been exciting as Vince McMahon's billion dollar company is giving the final touch to all the storylines. Most of the matches are confirmed for the Grandest Stage of Them All, and the rest of the matches could be announced next week.

The red brand announced three new matches last week as Roman Reigns accepted the challenge of Drew McIntyre, while Finn Balor got a title shot in New Jersey after beating Jinder Mahal and Bobby Lashley in a handicap match. The Women's Tag Team match was confirmed last week as the Boss N Hug Connection will put the twin belts on the line against three other teams.

The next RAW, which will be the final RAW before WrestleMania 35, is set to take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC. It is expected to be an action-packed episode next week.

Here we discuss four shockers WWE could be planning next week (1 April 2019).

#4 Dean Ambrose might get a match in New Jersey

It is a damn shame that Dean Ambrose still doesn't have a match for the Grandest Stage of Them All. With just one week left for the Show of Shows, he might get a new opponent. The Lunatic Fringe main evented RAW last week, but McIntyre dismantled the former WWE Champion in the Last Man Standing match.

Being a top superstar of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, Ambrose has had elite rivals at the Showcase of Immortals. Ambrose faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 while he defended the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 33. He could not take part at WrestleMania 34 as he was sidelined due to an injury.

Considering Ambrose will leave the company after WrestleMania 35, WWE doesn't have any major plan for the Lunatic Fringe. Moreover, he has been losing matches on RAW for weeks. Since he has been a top-tier superstar of the company, he might get a match in New Jersey, and it could be a proper farewell.

#3 John Cena could make a surprising appearance

John Cena, who is one of the biggest superstars of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, is uncertain about having a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Though Cena is currently a part-timer, he returned to the squared circle in January, but an unfortunate injury ruled him out. The 16-time WWE Champion is expected to take part at the Show of Shows, and he might show up on RAW next week.

Cena and McIntyre had a fierce segment when the former made his return earlier this year. As a matter of fact, McIntyre was the one who injured the former WWE Champion. The two men were speculated to have a rivalry, but McIntyre is facing Roman Reigns at the Metlife Stadium. Hence, it will be interesting to see who could face Cena if he makes a surprising return next week.

Cena could be an ideal opponent for Kurt Angle. The Olympic Gold medalist will fight Rey Mysterio in his final match on RAW. Though Angle is set to face Baron Corbin at the Show of Shows, it will be interesting to see if we get a last minute twist next week.

#2 Batista might announce to put his career on the line

There is no denying that the rivalry between Triple H and Batista has been impressive and the fans are heavily invested in this iconic feud. With spectacular promos between the two legendary superstars in the last few weeks, it might get physical next week.

It will be a No Hold Barred match, and Triple H will put his career on the line at the Showcase of Immortals. Batista might announce that he will put his career on the line next week, and it could become a career vs career match.

Both the superstars are in the twilight of their careers. Considering Batista is currently a big Hollywood movie star, he might not hesitate to put his career on the line. A career vs career match could be an exciting as one of the two superstars will be guaranteed to hang up the boots after the Show of Shows.

It is not their first meeting at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The two men main evented WrestleMania 21 where the Animal conquered the Game. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was one of the best feuds of the last decade. Hence, Triple H will be eager for redemption after 14 years by retiring Batista if it turns into a career vs career match.

#1 Asuka might attack Charlotte Flair during the six-woman tag team match

Vince McMahon's billion dollar company already announced that the three participants of the RAW Women's Championship match will take on the Riott Squad next week. The interesting part is if any of the three participants turn on their teammates during the six-man tag team match, they will be removed from the main event of WrestleMania.

It is ambiguous why Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair will be fighting the Riott Squad after they squashed Riott Squad members this week. Moreover, it will be the last RAW episode before the Show of Shows.

Judging by the result of the Beat the Clock Challenge this week, it should be an easy match-up for Rousey, Lynch, and Charlotte. Therefore, we might see an unforeseen surprise during the six-woman tag team match.

Following a loss on Smackdown Live, Asuka might shock everyone during the six-woman tag team. The Empress of Tomorrow could assault the recently crowned Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. Asuka could demand a rematch of the Smackdown Women's Championship.

As a result, Asuka might get added to the main event of WrestleMania 35, and it could become a fatal-4 way match. The winner of the match could become a dual champion at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
