But before the match itself, the WWE champion had a lot to say to the fans as usual. It was great promo work by Bryan whose heel persona is growing on fans in a good way with every passing week.
The amount of punishment he took and the way he put over Kofi in the last minutes of the show really made him stand apart among the pool of five other superstars in this potential five-star match. By the end of the match, his effort could be reflected by the scars on his chest in the last minutes of the match as he stood tall with his eco-friendly WWE title.
He was, as usual, at his best with his offensive moves and sold the match to the audience with to-the-point execution of his moves and expressions.
