#3 Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura's case is just too confusing because it is hard to pinpoint what happened between him and WWE that all of a sudden he was out of favor with them and just thrown into obscurity. Nakamura, a legitimate Superstar in any promotion he's been a part of, was promoted to SmackDown amid huge anticipation and it is not wrong to say that he delivered whenever he got the push. So much so that he was the eventual winner of the Royal Rumble last year.
But then after a loss at WrestleMania and a subsequent heel turn(which was again welcomed by the fans initially) has just brought everything to a standstill. He was made the US Champion but then hardly put on television or in a feud for an inexplicable amount of time. At the same time, his heel turn or even the writing from the creative team was just below par. For someone of Nakamura's caliber, patience must be wearing thin now because of the way he has been virtually kicked to the curb and a way out would not surprise many people.
