Kurt Angle is on the elite list of wrestlers who have defeated Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and John Cena. But, his accomplishments get even more impressive, given that he has beaten Rock and Austin as well.
Everyone will remember that Steve Austin turned heel to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania X-Seven, but do you remember who dethroned him? It was none other than the Olympic Gold Medalist. The match was at Unforgiven 2001 and not only did Angle beat Austin, but made the Rattlesnake tap out. After the match, Angle celebrated with his family and the entire locker room.
Angle lost to The Rock a couple of times in the lead up to WrestleMania X-Seven, but in 2000, he beat Rock to win his first-ever WWE Championship. At No Mercy 2000, the pair competed in the main event, which was a no disqualification match. Angle fought off interference from Rikishi and beat Rock for the title, courtesy the Angle slam.
