Jeff Hardy has been missing in action since his loss to Daniel Bryan two weeks back. Hardy's credibility as champion has been hurt by back to back losses to The Miz and Bryan. Hardy needs an opportunity to salvage his stock and in turn prove that he is a fighting champion.

Hardy needs a challenger for his US Title. Leaving a Superstar like Jeff Hardy out of the show for two straight weeks is a bad move by the WWE and the fact that he is the US Champion makes one question this decision even further.
Superstars like Shelton Benjamin, Alamas, Cass or even Daniel Bryan can give the US Champion a run for his money. Watching Hardy perform every week is something that the WWE Universe looks forward to and being deprived of this has really hurt his run as a champion.

About the author
Kishan Prasad
Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
