What twists and turns await?
What twists and turns await?

WWE produced an awe-inspiring episode of Monday Night RAW this week where we saw some good matches and important announcements. The company will be eager to continue the momentum in the next edition of the red brand.

The company announced that Alexa Bliss would announce the male and female participants to represent the flagship show at Money in the Bank. The Goddess declared Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre as the male competitors while Naomi, Dana Brooke, Natalya and Bliss herself were announced the female participants. Apart from it, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins had an official contract signing which turned into a brawl.

Lacey Evans and Becky Lynch continued their rivalry when the two women had a colossal brawl this week while Sami Zayn kept on dissing the WWE Universe. Bray Wyatt presented his Firefly Funhouse for the second time after altering his gimmick. Moreover, Bobby Lashley entered the feud between Miz and Shane McMahon as Lashley pinned Miz this week. The RAW Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins continued their impressive run by beating The Revival.

The upcoming RAW will be held at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. With Money in the Bank around the corner, it is expected to be a great show. Here we discuss surprises Vince McMahon's billion dollar company could be planning on Monday Night RAW next week.

#4 Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio could be announced for Money in the Bank

Joe and Mysterio
Joe and Mysterio

Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio initiated their feud on SmackDown Live. The two men squared off at the Showcase of Immortals where Joe squashed Mysterio. There is no denying that it one of the most humiliating losses of Rey Mysterio's career.

Braun Strowman attacked the current US Champion on the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania and many people anticipated that the Monster among Men could be the next challenger for Joe. Vince McMahon and his creative team might have dropped the idea as Strowman is scheduled to participate in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Interestingly, Joe and Mysterio locked horns with each other on RAW this week which was a rematch for their bout at the Show of Shows. It was a non-title match, but Mysterio defeated Joe and avenged his WrestleMania loss. With less than three weeks left for Money in the Bank, the company might be heading to the event with this storyline. Mysterio never won the US Championship, and the former WWE Champion could become a Grand Slam Champion at Money in the Bank if he faces and pins Joe.

#3 Sasha Bank could make her return and become part of Money in the Bank

Will we see The Boss next week?

Sasha Banks' last WWE appearance was at the Grandest Stage of Them All where she lost the Women's Tag Team Titles along with Bayley. The four-time RAW Women's Champion was extremely unhappy after losing the twin belts. Banks took a shot at WWE on social media, and many people speculated that she could be done with the company. Nevertheless, Banks is still part of the company, and it will not be surprising if WWE brings her back next week.

Banks was a titanic name in NXT as she won the NXT Women's Championship in the developmental brand. Following her main roster debut, Banks reached the top of the ladder by winning the most coveted women's prize of the red brand four times. Unfortunately, Banks' momentum got derailed, and she has not achieved significant success as a singles competitor in the last two years.

With the women's Money in the Bank Ladder match competitors already announced this week, it will be interesting to see if Banks could become part of the match. Alexa Bliss, Naomi, and Natalya are former women's champions while the same cannot be said about Dana Brooke. Considering Vince McMahon's billion dollar company loves to make last minute changes, Brooke might get replaced if Banks returns next week. With the addition of Banks, the ladder match could get exciting, and the former RAW Women's Champion could get back in the track if she manages to grab the briefcase.

#2 Sami Zayn could get a new opponent

Zayn
Zayn

Sami Zayn, who returned from injury last month, has been dissing the WWE Universe for months. The former NXT Champion came back to the squared circle on the RAW after WrestleMania 35 when he took on Finn Balor. Zayn immediately turned heel after the bout, and he has been on a roll after becoming a bad guy.

Zayn had a titanic success in NXT where he was a popular name. Besides offering some astounding bouts, he became the NXT Champion. Unfortunately, things have not been the same since Zayn moved to the main roster and he failed to replicate the same success. Considering his dexterity in the ring and sublime mic skills, Zayn deserves to be a top guy.

Zayn has been disparaging the fans for weeks, and he has attained a great momentum. However, overdoing it could become tedious, and it is the right time to find the new opponent of the former NXT Champion. Zayn could compete at Money in the Bank, and we might see his next opponent on the RAW next week. Robert Roode or EC3 could be an ideal opponent for Zayn.

#1 AJ Styles could turn heel

It is no secret that AJ Styles and Seth Rollins will scuffle in a one-on-one bout for the first time at Money in the Bank. The WWE Universe is certainly hyped for this bout as it is considered a dream match for the majority of the fans. The Phenomenal One qualified to be the next challenger of the Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Things got heated this week when the two men exchanged blows after signing the official contract.

Vince McMahon's billion dollar company shocked everyone at the Superstar Shake-Up when AJ Styles switched brands. The Phenomenal One built a gigantic legacy on SmackDown where he remained for three years.

AJ Styles has been a babyface for over two years, but he showed a new attitude against Seth Rollins this week. The two-time WWE Champion provided a fierce segment, and he was the first one to put hands on Seth Rollins. Considering the company loves to book big fights with a good guy and a bad guy, Styles' action was probably a hint of a heel turn. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the Phenomenal One turns heel on RAW next week.
