#1 Daniel Bryan might face off against The Fiend at Survivor Series

Sami Zayn, over the past couple of weeks, has been trying hard to convince Daniel Bryan to form a stable with Shinsuke Nakamura and himself, but the former leader of the Yes Movement hasn't really responded well to that request.

This week on SmackDown, Zayn was seen trying to convince Bryan backstage, when the lights turned Red and The Fiend attacked Bryan with a Mandible Claw. Hence, this might suggest that WWE is indeed going with Bryan as the next challenger for The Fiend and his Universal Championship.

The decision seems to make sense as Bryan and Bray Wyatt have a rich history. Furthermore, Bryan is working well on the back of a face turn in recent times, and this feud will definitely help in that regard. Anyone who comes up against The Fiend is not the favorite, hence the WWE Universe might back Bryan throughout this feud.

Vince McMahon is indeed going in the same direction with The Fiend as he did with Brock Lesnar, no inter-brand matches, just challengers from their respective brands.
