Many of the WWE Universe have weighed in with their predictions for The Royal Rumble over the past few weeks, but WWE has always been one step ahead of their fanbase and could still provide a number of shocks tomorrow night.

There are many predictable elements to tomorrow night's show, which include the likes of The Rock, Kurt Angle or even Velveteen Dream showing up in the men's Royal Rumble match, but WWE could be looking at the bigger picture instead.

There are currently nine matches on the card for tomorrow night's show in Phoenix, Arizona, but the focus has been on the two main Royal Rumble matches when the surprises could actually be as part of the matches that make up the undercard on the night.

#4 Four Horsewoman feud begins

Ronda Rousey defends her Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks tomorrow night in Phoenix, Arizona in what is thought to be the beginning of a feud between the Four Horsewomen of WWE and MMA.

The feud has been teased for the past few years and since Shayna Baszler will be defending her NXT Women's Championship in the same location the night before, with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir expected to be in her corner it makes sense for these three women to come out and help Rousey if she's outnumbered.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair already have a bone to pick with the Champion after she cost them the title at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs back in December and if the two women decide to interfere in Sasha Banks' match tomorrow night, then Rousey could have a few tricks of her own up her sleeve.

#3 R-Truth accidentally enters The Women's Royal Rumble

R-Truth famously entered The Royal Rumble match with a ladder a few years ago and the fact that he won The Mixed Match Challenge with Carmella back at TLC, means that he has won the chance to enter the match at number 30 this year.

WWE has to have some kind of trick up their sleeve with R-Truth and it's expected to see the comedic star enter The Women's Royal Rumble at number 30 by accident, despite the fact that Carmella is already in that position.

It would definitely add to the overall entertainment of the show and would answer a number of questions when it comes to the reason why WWE allowed superstars of Carmella and R-Truth's caliber to be added to match in such a lucrative position in the first place.

#2 Wyatt Family Reunion

It was back in the summer when Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt were last seen on WWE TV but are now all reported to be cleared to make their return. Rowan recently underwent surgery on a torn bicep, Harper had surgery on his wrist and Bray Wyatt was given the time off to recover from injuries he suffered in a car accident, which is why all three men have been sidelined.

Braun Strowman needs some help at the moment, especially since Finn Balor is in his spot looking for that Universal Championship. Strowman himself has stated that he wants to enter The Royal Rumble match but he could also take this chance to send a message to Brock Lesnar ahead of WrestleMania season but calling in the cavalry and taking down The Beast in what could be a four-on-one assault.

#1 Finn Balor reclaims his Universal Championship

Will Finn Balor be able to overcome the threat of The Beast?

Finn Balor was the first ever Universal Champion, he outlasted Seth Rollins in a fantastic match back at SummerSlam in 2016 when it was revealed that he worked the entire match with a shoulder injury, an injury that forced him to relinquish that Championship less than 24 hours later.

Balor has since been on a mission to reclaim his Championship and this weekend could be his best chance. The Demon King worried fans this week when he revealed that he won't be bringing The Demon to The Royal Rumble but just because Balor says that it isn't happening, doesn't mean it won't.

Brock Lesnar's Championship reign has become very predictable and throwing a spanner of this size in the works ahead of WrestleMania would be fantastic. Brock Lesnar has a lot of enemies that could pick a fight with him and help Balor to win, so the ordinary man who does extraordinary things could find a way past The Beast at long last.
