The first edition of WWE Evolution was a groundbreaking event held back in 2018. The premium live event, which was main-evented by Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella, was the first-ever all-women's PLE in the company's history.

It was also the only all-women's premium live event in the company's history, seven years later. However, that won't be the case for long, as Evolution 2 has been announced for Sunday, July 13, live at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

So far, it isn't clear how the Evolution card will shape up, but it should feature some of the best female stars going today, along with some legends. One of those legends who could appear might very well be Paige.

The former Saraya is no longer with All Elite Wrestling, and fans are hoping to see her return to her home promotion ahead of the big premium live event. This article will take a look at a handful of ways she could show up if she is indeed planned for the show.

Below are four ways Paige can return ahead of WWE Evolution 2.

#4. Paige could reveal that she's the special guest host

It is unclear whether Paige will be cleared to wrestle in WWE. She was once an active star in the company, but various injuries led to her retirement. Despite that, she went on to get medically cleared and competed in All Elite Wrestling.

While many of her long-time fans, and likely many WWE fans, would love to see Paige return to the ring, she might be unable to do so. Still, Triple H could find an important role for Paige at Evolution even if she's not cleared to compete in the ring.

For example, The Glampire could serve as the special guest host for the PLE. This would essentially allow Paige to serve as the General Manager for the event, albeit just for one night. Still, giving her control would be a fun way to utilize the former Divas Champion if she can't compete.

#3. She could announce a special Chyna Memorial Battle Royal for Evolution 2

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is held during WrestleMania week every single year. It was initially a staple at 'Mania itself, but it later moved to the go-home edition of SmackDown before The Show of Shows. Obviously, the big-time bout honors the legendary Andre the Giant.

What fans often forget is that there was, albeit briefly, a women's battle royal also held. It took place in 2018 and 2019. Naomi and Carmella were the two winners. Sadly, the practice has been discontinued, but WWE could change that and bring the concept back for Evolution.

The company could honor Chyna by announcing a women's battle royal named after the Ninth Wonder of the World.

#2. Paige could help Nikki Bella deal with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

A Paige return isn't the only comeback WWE fans can enjoy. Nikki Bella made her return on Monday Night RAW last week. This was her first time on-screen for the company since her surprise entry in the Women's Royal Rumble Match earlier this year.

Unfortunately, Nikki's return wasn't quite what she had hoped. She was interrupted by Liv Morgan, who later attacked the legend. However, even if Nikki attempts to get revenge, Raquel Rodriguez will be watching Liv's back.

Paige could return as Nikki Bella's partner to deal with the Liv Morgan problem. The two are former friends and enemies, so working together isn't unrealistic. Who knows, if Nikki and the former Saraya gain momentum as a duo, they could even challenge Liv and Raquel for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

#1. She could come out on WWE RAW and challenge Rhea Ripley to a match

Rhea Ripley is one of the most popular female wrestlers of all time. In fact, it could be argued that she's the most popular active superstar in WWE today. Her rise to the top is incredibly impressive.

Paige hasn't exactly hidden the fact that she's a fan of The Eradicator. In the past, she's even mentioned having the desire to team up with Rhea in a tag team match in WWE one day. While that may not be in the books, Triple H could do something else instead.

The Game could book Paige vs. Rhea Ripley for the big-time event. The former AEW Women's World Champion could return to television leading up to Evolution and challenge the dominant Ripley to a singles match. From there, two different generations of goth superstars could go at it.
