An inadvertent injury via a steel chair saw Orton's thigh torn
The most recent injury on this list took place at Hell in a Cell 2018 when the Viper faced Jeff Hardy. The two had been feuding for quite a while, with Orton saying that he was using Hardy to teach a lesson to the WWE Universe by taking out one of their icons.

The match itself was full of brutal spots, including one where Orton inserted a screwdriver through Hardy's ear piercing, mangling it by twisting it. Hardy would later jump from the top of the cell onto an empty table, that spelt the end of his night, as Orton was able to pin him moments afterwards.
However, the reason this match is on this list is because of what happened to Randy Orton. While being attacked by a chair, a sharp edge of the steel chair would cut into Orton's thigh, hurting him visibly. He later posted a photo on Instagram of his bleeding thigh with skin torn off it.
