Mean Street Posse consisted of Pete Gas, Rodney and, Joey Abs. Two of the members (Pete Gas and Rodney) are real life friends with Shane McMahon. Joey Abs was the only one who actually had ring experience before.

Someone backstage thought it was a great idea to have some of Shane's real-life friends to be a heel faction on TV every week.

Mean Street Posse didn't last long and ended up like most groups do, getting beat up to make whoever else look good.
