Cruiserweight Division has always had some kind of Mexican/Lucha Libre flavor added to the mix. It's what made it special to watch. WWE is finally taking the division seriously over the last few weeks.

But back in 2005-2006, WWE didn't really care at all. Take the Mexicools for example, three talented wrestlers and WWE just gave them a stereotypical gimmick and let them run with it.
We can say WWE has moved away from these awful gimmicks and made the Cruiserweight division what it should've been, just wrestling. Don't add storylines, just let them wrestle.
