The Hardy Boyz's return at WrestleMania 33 last year was met with the loudest pop of the night. The duo had come back to WWE after a gap of seven years and won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Four-Way tag team ladder match.

After Jeff Hardy's injury, Matt had some disappointing feuds. He finally gained momentum after his rivalry with Bray Wyatt as "Woken" Matt Hardy.

The Ultimate Deletion was probably the best thing that has happened in 2018 and has got Hardy a much-deserved recognition. The most over performer in WWE today, Matt deserves a better opponent than being in the Battle Royal.

2018 can be the changing point for Hardy. With all the momentum that he finally has, Hardy deserves a contention in the World Title picture. He's not held a singles title in WWE for nine years, and the time has come for the decision to be made.
