Since the original debut of The Shield, all three members have progressed exponentially. However, Roman Reigns has been the most successful. He has earned multiple singles and tag team championships. He is presently the Universal Champion. However, his recent feuds have been repetitive.
Reigns would become Universal champion a few months back, beating back all challengers. During his reign, he has earned a new rival, Braun Strowman. At WWE Super Show-Down they will clash for the championship. However, what happens afterwards?
It is no surprise that Reigns' popularity is temperamental. One day he is booed. Others, he is cheered. Somehow, he has yet to turn heel.
Therefore, to ensure Reigns becomes the next top guy in WWE, a new feud is needed. An excellent way to achieve this is a feud with Rey Mysterio. Historically Mysterio has battled bigger guys, with success. Therefore, to build Reigns' credibility, this would be perfect for WWE. What will happen?
