#2. Hope is true: Samoa Joe finally cleared for an in-ring return to WWE?

There has been a big change to the WWE commentary team on RAW. Tom Phillips has now moved to 205 Live, and ESPN's Adnan Virk will be taking his place as the voice of the Red brand.

Byron Saxton remains in his position, while Corey Graves will return to RAW. Interestingly, Samoa Joe, who spent all of WWE's pandemic era in the commentary booth, isn't present.

This has led to speculation that WWE has finally cleared Samoa Joe for an in-ring return. While Samoa Joe was on the commentary desk before his last return, it was cut short as he had been out since February 2020 with concussion-related issues.

Given how strict WWE is with concussion protocols, it's no surprise that Samoa Joe took so long to get cleared. We hope that this is true because Samoa Joe deserves another run. It's shocking that since his debut in early 2017, he has only appeared in one WrestleMania - and even that was only for one minute.
