In my opinion, Maryse also got mistreated during the wrestling career. Although her wrestling acumen was not on the level as some others on this list, her character had so much potential that those shortcomings could have been worked over. She had almost everything that the WWE typically looks for - she had the charisma, was serviceable on the mic, and had the ability to play both babyface and heel characters; a little work on her in-ring skills would have worked wonders.

She even had the perfect look. She's a former two-time Divas Champion, and if she was booked properly - maybe being allowed to excel as a super heel that could not be beaten - Maryse could have become one of the most recognizable figures in the company.

#1: Victoria

Victoria also had a career very similar to that of Molly Holly. The big difference with Victoria, however, was her talent in the ring. Victoria might be the most talented ring worker among her peers in her era; her talent was special. I never liked a single character she portrayed though. I still am not sure if that was because of her or her booking - my bet is on the booking.

Her career in the WWE lasted almost a decade. She joined the main roster during the Ruthless Aggression Era, surviving Trish and Lita, and played a wide variety of roles during her stint - from a dastardly heel to a vanilla babyface.

There are a lot of things to love about her work in that period, whether it's quality in-ring performances or great character work, there wasn't a time when it looked like she didn't belong in the ring. In a world with too many women that were merely used a eye-candy, Victoria provided both aesthetics and great wrestling.
