When will Becky 'The Man' Lynch return to action?

Everyone loves a good rumor right? Something to talk about over a water cooler.

In WWE, everything moves so fast. Not just the Superstars in the ring, but all the latest news and rumors that reach the public every single day.

With Survivor Series now firmly behind us, the Superstars of RAW and SmackDown Live hope to give an impressive showing at TLC, the final pay per view of 2018. After all, a good showing at the tenth Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay per view, could help launch a Superstar to the next level in 2019, just in time for the Royal Rumble next month.

Here are four rumors from wrestling from this week that you really need to know.

Note: Please remember that every rumor presented here are just that, rumors, just to have fun with. Whilst some may seem more likely than others, please take all of them with a grain of salt.

#4 When will The Man return to competition?

The WWE Universe haven't seen Becky Lynch compete in weeks, ever since she suffered a concussion on the go-home RAW to Survivor Series. The loss has been a real hit to the fans, as Lynch has become one of the company's most popular stars in recent years, ever since turning heel at Summerslam 2018.

According to several reports, Lynch is still not medically cleared to compete, though will be evaluated at this week's TV events. It is still unclear if she will appear on SmackDown Live at all this week, or whether she will remain backstage for her tests.

If found to be better, she could be returning to action, sooner rather than later, hopefully before the end of the year. With that said though, the WWE definitely don't want to force her back in the ring too early.

#3 The Showoff is back?

Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler

Last week, it was reported that the ShowOff Dolph Ziggler was dealing with a foot injury. According to Dave Meltzer, the injury could've kept Ziggler out of action for at least a week or two, to allow him to heal.

However, reports are stating that Ziggler's foot isn't as bad as first thought, and he could be competing tonight on the latest Monday Night RAW. Hopefully, this is true, as Ziggler's alignment with Drew McIntyre has made both men some of the most entertaining Superstars in WWE today.

Also, the WWE (particular the RAW roster) has been plagued with recent hiatuses, losing top-tier stars like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman. An injured Ziggler is the last thing the company needs right now, as the road to TLC and the Royal Rumble continues.

Hopefully, Ziggler will be back to stealing the show very soon.

#2 Separate productions in 2019

According to the Wrestling Observer, the WWE will be changing up their productions in 2019. It reports that there will be different productions for RAW and SmackDown Live next year, but did not specify what this means exactly.

This may mean completely different teams working on the shows, which could lead to vastly differing shows on TV. As we all know, SmackDown will be moving to Friday nights in October next year, as a part of the deal with FOX Sports.

Whilst little is known about the deal, the WWE has refuted claims that the brand split (which began in 2016) will be coming to an end. People had previously speculated that the rosters would be merging into one, to allow more top-tier talent to appear on SmackDown to impress the Fox executives.

For now though, we'll have to wait until 2019 to see what happens to both shows.

#1 More WWE Network live events

The WWE Network is a gift for the WWE Universe, allowing them thousands upon thousands of hours of content for relatively little money. Not only does it offer old pay per views, but it offers the current ones, and very occasionally, live events, such as the Beast in the East special in Japan, in 2015.

With that said though, the Observer is also reporting that there will be many more WWE Live events shown on the Network in 2019. It is unclear whether these will be special live events, such as Beast in the East or their Madison Square Garden events, or just standard events.

These shows may be part of the rumored tiered subscription service, that would mean fans could pay more to receive more content on the WWE Network. Whilst the WWE have surveyed fans about this, no confirmation has been given for tiered services.
