The next generation of WWE Superstars looks like it's in good hands

The wrestling business definitely isn't one for the faint-hearted and WWE Superstars have first-hand knowledge of the entire process. Despite knowing the world that they are opening their children up to, there are several current and former stars who are still open to their offsprings following in their footsteps.

The Rock, Triple H, Santino Marella, and even Scott Armstrong already have daughters who are pushing to be able to continue the family name, but several others aren't open to the idea.

Whilst there are more parents who are open to the idea than those opposing it, it is worth noting that there are several stars who still want to protect their children from the business and everything that comes along with it.

Let's take a look at 4 such stars that want their daughters to follow in their footsteps, and 2 that don't:

#6. The Miz will support Monroe Sky if she wants to be a WWE Superstar

The Miz came to WWE 15 years ago as an on-screen personality and has since been able to prove all of his doubters wrong. He has since become one of the company's most recognizable stars.

Wrestling has given The Miz a wife, a family, and a reality TV show which the former WWE Champion is truly thankful for. This could be one of the reasons why The Miz revealed in an interview with SunSport that he would support his oldest daughter if she decided to follow in her parents' footsteps and join WWE:

"To be a WWE superstar, I mean it’s everything and more. Are there ups and downs? Yes, there’s ups and downs in every business and everything you do in life no matter what job or what thing that you’re doing. "I think my thing is if WWE is something that she loves and she really wants to do, then I’ll support it, but I’ll also educate her on the fact that in life, no matter what job, you’re going to have ups and downs. It’s just that way. But if you’re doing something that you love, then those downs aren’t really that big of a down because, you know what, you’re doing what you love," said The Miz.

Monroe Sky is just three years old, but don't rule out the daughter of former Divas Champion Maryse becoming part of the Women's Revolution one day.

#5. Jeff Hardy would help train his daughters for a career in the wrestling business

Jeff Hardy is nearing the end of his wrestling career and has recently opened up about the options that he has when he finally hangs up his boots.

The former WWE Champion has noted several times that he doesn't want to become a trainer, but if his daughters wanted to follow in his footsteps and become The Hardy Girls, then he would step up and coach them.

"I don’t see myself training people really, unless it’s my daughters. If my daughters want to wrestle, if they want to be The Hardy Girls, I’m going to be the trainer, and there’s a women’s championship, the tag team women’s championship now. I remember saying years ago, ‘Wow, that’d be cool if they had some women’s tag team titles,' and now here we are. So, it’s pretty cool," said Jeff Hardy.

Hardy was recently drafted over to Smackdown and still has some time left on his WWE contract, so this could be a few years in the future. Hardy's daughters are just 10 and five years old, so there's plenty of time for them to establish an interest in the family business.

#4. Former WWE Superstar Brandi Rhodes wants to keep her daughter away from the wrestling business

Brandi Rhodes has become one of AEW's best-known names after leaving WWE, where she was known as Eden Stiles.

Brandi and her husband, former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, recently welcomed a baby girl, Liberty. She has made it clear that she won't be pushing her daughter towards a career in the family business:

“As far as pushing her towards the wrestling ring, I’m going to push her away from a wrestling ring, as far away from a wrestling ring as I possibly can. Not because wrestling’s bad. Of course not. This is what I love to do. I don’t want her to feel pressure to go that direction," Rhodes confirmed as part of a recent zoom panel.

The former WWE Superstar went on to note that she didn't want to choose her daughter's direction in the same way that her husband's path was chosen for him at just three years old:

“I don’t want her to have the memory that he will share which is ‘My earliest memory at three years old was my feet touching a wrestling ring,’” Brandi said. “When you do that to a child, you set them on a course I feel like. So I want her to decide her course.”

Liberty will grow up around the wrestling business with both of her parents so heavily invested in the rise of AEW and it appears that he parents are happy for her to make her own choices when it comes to her career prospects.

#3. Former WWE Superstar Jon Moxley will support his daughter if she wants to become a wrestler

Jon Moxley was once known as Dean Ambrose in WWE but has since made the move over to AEW where he has been able to unveil a whole new character.

Moxley and fellow former WWE star Renee Paquette recently welcomed their first child, a daughter named Nora. Whilst the couple has done everything they can to protect their daughter from the spotlight over the past few months, Moxley recently noted that he would support her if she wanted to become a wrestler:

“If she was really passionate about it, then yeah, go for it. If not, if it were just a playing around thing, then go play around with it. ” Jon Moxley said. “I would assess where her mindset was and [I would say], ‘Get in there and, uh, take a bump. See how that feels.’ Whatever she wants to do, I will support it. If she ever wanted to get into wrestling, in theory, I would rather guide [her] and make sure it was done correctly and safely and right, and for all of the right reasons."

The former WWE Champion did note that if his daughter only wanted to play around with the career then he would advise her against it.But if it was something she really wanted then he would support her decision.

#2. Current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has done everything he can to keep his daughter away from the business

Roman Reigns is easily one of the biggest WWE stars in the company right now and there are a lot of negative things that come along with that.

It makes sense that The Tribal Chief wants to protect his family from that side of the business and Reigns himself has been open about that part of his life. His daughter Joelle was used as part of his feud with Bray Wyatt in WWE in 2014, something that Reigns wasn't completely comfortable with, and he has since made it clear that there is a line when it comes to his privacy.

"It wasn’t something that came from my home or private, like, me and [Joelle] selfie or something like that. It was a promotional thing that we did. It’s in the malls. You can probably see it on my Twitter, so that’s why I was okay with that.” Reigns continued, “We didn’t touch on it much after. It was something to spark, but too much is too much and I thought we were able to push a line and stay there and not go too far and we were able to go back towards the wrestling and the talent and us telling our individual story [as] opposed to getting too deep into that type of real life situation.”

Roman Reigns is from a wrestling family himself and his daughter could well catch the same wrestling bug so it remains to be seen as to whether the current WWE Universal Champion would be happy with her following in his footsteps.

#1. WWE Legend The Undertaker will support his daughter if she wants to become a wrestler

The Undertaker has spent his entire adult life inside a WWE ring and has only recently been able to step away.

The former wrestler turned actor has now made it clear that his days in the ring are over, but his daughter could decide to follow in his footsteps. As part of a recent interview, The Deadman confirmed that he would support her if that was the case:

"Of all my kids, she's probably the one that I need to keep the closest eye on for following in Daddy's footsteps. She knows the ins and outs and she could probably tell you more about today's product than I can. She's really in tune with what's going on. I mean if it's in her heart, and that's what she really truly wants to do, one day I'll do my best to coach her up, obviously her mom will too. But we'll see what happens. We have a long way to go, before we are worried about that," Undertaker confirmed.

The Undertaker's daughter Kaia is just nine years old, so she has plenty of time to decide if she wants to join WWE and be part of the same business as her parents.
