4 WWE Superstars who could take the #30 spot instead of R-Truth

Who will take R-Truth's spot?
Who will take R-Truth's spot?

The Royal Rumble match of 2019 is just 4 days away, and a lot of superstars have already made their participation public for the match.

The list for the men's match goes as follows -

R-Truth, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins, Jeff Hardy, Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, John Cena, Elias, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Apollo Crews, Andrade Cien Almas, Mustafa Ali, Titus O' Neil, and Rey Mysterio.

R-Truth, who won the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge along with Carmella will enter the Royal Rumble match at #30, which is meant to be the most coveted spot of the match.

However, given how WWE has booked R-Truth on SmackDown Live, it seems unlikely that the superstar will enter the match last. In my opinion, he will be attacked backstage by a superstar who will go on to enter the match at #30, and here are the top 4 candidates for that role.

#4 Kevin Owens

He is returning soon
He is returning soon

Kevin Owens has been on the sidelines since SummerSlam 2018, as the Prizefighter was dealing with his knee injuries. He underwent surgeries, and now is set to make his in-ring return. Even WWE has started airing vignettes of his return on RAW episodes.

Given that he is returning soon, the best stage to book his return will be the Royal Rumble match. Owens could easily beat R-Truth backstage, and then go on to replace him in the match at #30.

Also, Kevin Owens had done the same thing last year when he and Sami Zayn took out Tye Dillinger before he could enter the match. WWE could book Owens in the same angle once again, as he makes his triumphant return to in-ring competition.

Monday Night RAW needs great heel superstars, and though Kevin Owens is loved by the WWE Universe, we all know there is no one who can work as a heel better than him.

#3 Daniel Bryan

Will we see this once again at the Royal Rumble PPV?
Will we see this once again at the Royal Rumble PPV?

The new Daniel Bryan is the reigning WWE Champion of SmackDown Live, but he will be defending that title against AJ Styles on the Royal Rumble PPV. If Daniel Bryan loses the WWE Championship to the Phenomenal One, chances are high that he may try to enter the Royal Rumble match later in the night.

Number 30 is regarded by many to be the best position to win the match, and so the heel superstar will make efforts to take that spot. Also, Daniel Bryan has had issues with R-Truth on SmackDown Live in the recent past. WWE could use that background to explain why Daniel attacked R-Truth.

Bryan attacking Truth and then entering the match at #30 will surely draw nuclear heat towards him, and that's the only thing the bearded superstar needs to become the top heel of the company.

#2 Kenny Omega

Rumors are rife that Kenny Omega has signed with AEW, but the news is not official yet
Rumors are rife that Kenny Omega has signed with AEW, but the news is not official yet

While the rumors are wild that the Cleaner has signed with All Elite Wrestling, nothing is official yet, and so Kenny Omega can still be a part of WWE. If WWE manages to sign Kenny Omega, the best stage they can choose for his in-ring debut is the Royal Rumble match.

If the WWE decides to book him as a face, then they could have R-Truth move out of Chase Field just moments before his entry, as a friend would call him up for dinner or any other comedic reason, and then Kenny Omega's music could hit, and the Cleaner would make his grand entry.

But if he is to be booked as a heel, then the creative team can straight away have him attack R-Truth backstage, and then Kenny can enter the match at #30.

Either way, this would definitely be the best stage for Kenny Omega's debut.

#1 Lars Sullivan

Will the Freak finally make his main roster debut at Chase Field?
Will the Freak finally make his main roster debut at Chase Field?

5 out of the 6 NXT call-ups have made their debuts on the main roster, and the only 1 superstar who is yet to appear on WWE TV is Lars Sullivan. Sullivan's main roster debut was hyped up the most by the WWE, but since the Freak was not fit, his debut has been delayed.

However, Lars Sullivan is expected to be fit by the Royal Rumble PPV, and if the WWE book him to enter the Royal Rumble match, the only position he should enter the match at is #30. He could make a destructive debut by laying R-Truth out backstage, and then enter the match last.

Whether Lars Sullivan should win the match or not is secondary, but having him enter at #30 will surely bring more attention towards him.
