#3 Way Less: Shinsuke Nakamura - $400,000/per year

Shinsuke Nakamura may be a top tier stat to fans, but his salary certainly does not reflect that

The WWE's 2018 Men's Royal Rumble winner and United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is unquestionably earning a salary most fans would deem far too low for a performer of Nakamura's caliber.

Despite failing to win the WWE Championship from AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura has been featured heavily on SmackDown Live since his arrival from NXT in a prominent main event position, and he holds a significant amount of name value.

Regardless, if the reports prove to be correct, Shinsuke Nakamura is only earning the relatively measly salary of $400,000 per year. To think that Sin Cara is making nearly $300,000 more than Shinsuke is quite surprising, and it just goes to show that one's booking isn't everything in WWE -- we suppose some fans (or WWE) could make the argument that Sin Cara has more seniority in the company than Nakamura who has only been around for one year on the main roster.
