#4 WWE SmackDown superstar Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali's WWE career is a strange and unfortunate case. He was once seen as a remarkable prospect and was reported in line for a shot at the WWE Championship. However, the emotionally driven rise of Kofimania had to leave some side effects, and it was Ali's rising career that suffered from it.
His ring name was shortened and then reverted, and he was taken off television only to return as the heel leader of the infamous Retribution. He has since alternated between face and heel gimmicks and is nowhere near the hottest rising star of the company as he once was.
With not even a mid-card WWE title on his list of accomplishments, could Ali's luck turn at some point down the road?
#3 WWE Diva Search winner Eva Marie
WWE faces a lot of criticism for its indomitable will to push Eva Marie, a woman with negligible professional wrestling skills. Simultaneously a fashion designer, model, and occasional reality show star, Marie is, according to many fans, better off outside the world of pro wrestling.
However, the current WWE RAW superstar is surprisingly not a women's champion by this point. During her NXT career, she challenged spirited babyface Bayley for the NXT Championship in an unsuccessful attempt.
In her current run, she got involved in a timeless rivalry against former protege Doudrop, who is more suited for a championship run.
