A lot has been said and written for NXT being the main roster show instead of a developmental show as the list of wrestlers on the yellow brand are way past training days and are established wrestlers in their own areas. With that being said, a rumor that has been circulating for almost a month now is the compelling invasion angle featuring the NXT Roster and the Main Roster.

This could be a long-term storyline on the lines of Nexus invasion which could potentially work in the favor of both the shows. If the rumor does come to reality, expect a Pay-Per-View with superstars of both the shows taking on each other for a battle of brands. And this might just be better than Survivor Series or SmackDown vs RAW affairs. The Undisputed Era vs The Shield, Johny Gargano vs AJ Styles, Ricochet vs Daniel Bryan, the list is endless.
