#3 Alberto Del Rio vs Christian (2011 - Ladder Match):

A ladder match is always a treat to watch. A ladder match with one of the pioneers of the bout? That is even better.
Such was the condition when Christian faced Alberto Del Rio at Extreme Rules in 2011 in a Ladder Match.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Christian had spent his entire fifteen-year career in WWE, without a single major World title. He had held several secondary titles as well as tag titles, but the resume of the 'Captain Charisma' severely lacked a main-event title.
The match itself was not the best one of all time, although it was the match of the night. Both men took ridiculous bumps, and the interfering Brodus Clay was opened up as well.
The bout had not been going too well for Christian, but his former tag partner, Edge turned up at just the right moment. The distraction helped Christian to get the World Heavyweight Championship from the top of the ladder.
The moment was an emotional one, with Edge having retired three weeks before the bout after revealing his injuries, Christian's first-ever major championship win could not have come at a better time and made this bout all the more memorable.
