Looking back at WrestleMania 22, the event was definitely one of the most memorable WrestleMania's WWE had ever lined-up in its history and was filled with some of the most memorable moments. The show featured John Cena's iconic gangster entrance, Micky James' controversial yet historic match against Trish Stratus, but the most memorable of them all certainly has to be a particular spear that was delivered on the night by Edge.

In the fifth match of the evening, Edge, accompanied to the ring by Lita, faced Mick Foley in a Hardcore Match. A feud that was definitely distinguished between two Superstars from two classic generations, as Foley and Edge put each other through hell and back in their 'Mania 22 clash.

However, it was that one particular moment that stood out head and shoulders from the rest and to this day, is probably one of the most talked-about spots of all time. As Foley set up a table on the outside, Lita decided to turn the match in Edge's favor by hitting the former between his legs with barbed wire.
But, that wasn't the end of the absurdity shown by Lita, as she then lit up a table that allowed Edge to spear Foley through the burning table on the outside for the win. With both wrestlers covered in blood thanks to Foley's barbed wire bat and sock, Edge was declared the winner but at what cost?
The Rated-R Superstar quickly went into a shock after the match but for his stunts that night at the Allstate Arena, Edge sure did create one of the most iconic images in Pro Wrestling history.
