#2 Seth Rollins - Architect no more
At SummerSlam 2016, Finn Balor defeated Seth Rollins to become the inaugural Universal Champion. However, Finn Balor injured his shoulder during his match against Seth Rollins. The injury forced Balor to relinquish the title a day later on RAW, paving the way for the crowning of a new champion.
The main event of the August 29, 2016 episode of RAW saw a Fatal-4 Way Elimination Match between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, and Big Cass to crown a new champion.
The final few minutes of the saw Triple H come out to run interference. The Game appeared out of nowhere to hit a pedigree on Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins took advantage of the situation, pinning The Big Dog and eliminating him from the match. It seemed like Rollins had the bout won with Triple H going for a Pedigree on Kevin Owens. But, in a shocking turn of events, The Game would turn on Rollins, hitting him with a Pedigree. The finish of the match saw a stunned Owens pinning Rollins to win the Universal Championship.
Triple H's turn on Rollins would become the genesis of Seth Rollins' babyface turn. The feud between the two would culminate at WrestleMania 33, where Rollins would defeat his former mentor in an Unsanticioned Match.
