#2. To make SummerSlam the "Brock Lesnar show"

It's not hard to believe that in 9 SummerSlam appearances, The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar has only lost thrice. Not only this, but he perhaps boasts of having the greatest SummerSlam resumé ever, facing the likes of The Rock, Kurt Angle, Triple H, CM Punk, John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe.
The only person who has a record as close to that is Bret "The Hitman" Hart, whose resumé speaks for itself. While The Undertaker does have the most appearances, the quality of opposition was generally nowhere close to Lesnar or Hart's.
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
It's clear that WWE wants to make SummerSlam a show centered around Lesnar and it's telling that he has main evented the last six out of seven SummerSlam events he has been a part of. Having him beat Rollins would only add to that incredible SummerSlam resumé.
