Jon Moxley wasn't intimidated by Taz and Brian Cage's threatening presence on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
However, things took a downturn for the AEW World Champion as Moxley got ambushed in a parking lot this week. While being interviewed, Moxley made it clear that he was not in a good mood. Before he could enter the arena, Taz stopped the AEW World Champion and reinstated his threats towards Moxley.
That would only serve as a distraction for Brian Cage to attack Jon Moxley from behind. But things spiraled out of control quickly, and Moxley ended up with his back on the windshield of a car, thanks to Cage's actions.
This brutal attack was necessary to showcase Taz's client as a legitimate contender after Moxley has been relatively unafraid of him in recent episodes.
Now, Brian Cage has proven to be a tough roadblock in Jon Moxley's AEW World title reign, and this is one of those moments where people can actually see Moxley being dethroned from his position at Fyter Fest.
