Die-hard fans of WWE would have seen the ending of the segment involving Roman Reigns’ victory at Elimination Chamber from miles away. While fans weren’t sure who would win the Elimination Chamber match to earn a shot at the Universal Championship, many would have predicted that Edge would show up to Spear The Tribal Chief.

The SmackDown before Elimination Chamber gave too much, as the episode began with a confrontation between Reigns and Edge. The exchange between the two men was fiery enough to make many fans believe that Edge would challenge Reigns at Elimination Chamber.

During the final moments of SmackDown, Reigns Speared Edge to end the night and virtually confirm that the two men will dance at The Show of Shows. With the outcome of the Elimination Chamber matches pending, did WWE give too much away too soon?

Could WWE have done a better job at building towards the match between Edge and Reigns? And why did the creatives not choose this segment to close out the Elimination Chamber event, rather than The Miz’s victory?

The match between Reigns and Edge is most welcome. However, the creatives could have done a better job at building some suspense before the final reveal.
