#2. What’s next for Diamond Mine on WWE NXT?
Diamond Mine debuted on WWE NXT after creating some hype over several weeks. The faction consisted of Roderick Strong, Tyler Rust, Hideki Suzuki and manager Malcolm Bivens.
Rust and Strong competed in a couple of matches before Strong laid down a challenge to the NXT Cruiserweight Champion, KUSHIDA.

However, WWE released Rust from his contract on Friday night, denting the faction in the process. Strong is now the only full time active wrestler left in the faction, and he has a big match coming up at TakeOver 36.
What’s next for Diamond Mine after Rust was released from his contract? Will NXT add another member to the faction and pretend like nothing happened, or will the faction break up soon?
It looked like Strong and his accomplices would go on a good run following the breakup of the Undisputed ERA. Rust also looked like someone who’d become a big name on NXT and possibly get into a title picture himself.
However, the release of Bobby Fish and Rust from WWE now puts the faction in a difficult position. It will be interesting to see how Strong and his men cope with the situation in the weeks to come.
