Dean Ambrose has been one of the highlights of WWE for quite some time now. He has remained in the good books of creative and the management who have always given him screentime and a reasonable amount of push a whenever he has been fit and ready to compete.

His success not only came during his time with The Shield, but he has found a reasonable amount of success as a solo wrestler too.
This week, the WWE Universe was shocked to learn that Ambrose has decided not to sign a new contract with the company, with the WrestleMania probably being his last assignment with the company.
While many believe that the news could be a work by the WWE who might be planning something around it, it is still a big deal and brings us to wonder how much the company will suffer if the superstar actually leaves.

Along with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Ambrose was also called up from NXT to the main roster as The Shield. The trio rose to fame with feuds with some of the best wrestlers and factions on both Raw and SmackDown.
Similarly, WWE relies on the stars that are already established to give significant pushes to the new call-ups. The Shield has also been one of WWE’s biggest cash cows as the faction and its members are three of the most popular Superstars in WWE with a lot of merchandise sales.
Even though the faction broke up and got back together on a couple of occasions, fans still want more and keep coming back each time WWE even teases a reunion. While the last break up of The Shield seemed like the last time the trio would walk together, WWE is one place where you never say never.
Just like DX, the Hardy Boyz, and many other factions have broken up and reunited on multiple occasions, there always remains a chance that The Shield will reunite at some point in time.
If Dean Ambrose quits WWE, then any chances of Shield’s reunion is automatically thrown out of the door, as the faction would never feel the same without one of the founding members.
