#2 It could give other promotions an upper hand
One upper hand WWE has always had over other promotions has been its ability to secure top talent with much ease. A reason for doing that has been the pool of wealth that the company has and its ability to offer lucrative contracts to top draws.
It has been reported that Ambrose will not sign with the company even if he is offered much higher than he is already earning. That means that the superstar is actually tired of the storylines he’s been put in, and money will not make him stay.
This is a direct knock to creative as well as the money WWE has always prided over, as one of their biggest stars is ready to leave no matter what the company has to offer for him now.
With that being said, it makes other promotions who pay a lower amount but give superstars a fair chance seem better to other prospects who are either already with the company or were planning to sign with the company in the future.
