A fantastic night of Brobdingnagian proportions awaits us as WWE will host the 25th Anniversary of 'the longest running, weekly episodic television show in history' on January 22nd, 2018 at the Barclays Centre & Manhattan Centre in New York.

The company is trying everything in their power to promote the much anticipated event which means that all the big names ranging from legends to the future of the business will grace their presence.

It will truly be an astounding night where the past & the present of the WWE will join hands to celebrate history & fabricate a brighter future.

#5 D-Generation X & the Balor Club

This would be 'too sweet'

D-Generation X was one of the hottest professional wrestling stables in all of sports entertainment. The faction led by Shawn Michaels & Triple H generated quality mainstream entertainment to legions of their fans during its tenure and also included legends like X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws.

Since, the iconic faction is scheduled to make an appearance, it would be an exceptional moment if they are confronted by the Balor Club. The leader of the Balor Club, Finn Balor could head to the ring with his 'Good Brothers' and come face to face with the popular group.

Since WWE's idea could be to collaborate the past with the present, it would make sense for Finn's stable to have a 'get-together' moment with DX considering how much Hunter admires 'the Demon'. An iconic confrontation annexed with a 'Too-sweet' moment would be outstanding and would definitely be a big 'mark-out' moment. Expect an A.J. Styles interruption too which could lead to a Styles-Shawn confrontation. What a moment it could be!

Well, you cannot have a 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw without mentioning the classic legitimate rivalry between two of the biggest wrestling promotions ever. If you're a hardcore wrestling fan, then you understand the importance of this monumental confrontation.

In case you didn't know, WWE & WCW were two companies that competed with each other during the 90's and, did everything to stay on top. Both wrestling promotions share a classic history. Who could ever forget Monday Night Wars for TV rating supremacy? While, Vince McMahon eventually bought WCW, the rivalry still remains deep within the core of every hardcore wrestling fan.

It would be an iconic moment if the WWE Universe gets a glimpse of these two go at it once again in what could be a legendary confrontation. Stars of the Attitude Era & stars from WCW could come together to grace the evening & celebrate history together. A shocking Sting and Goldberg return would be phenomenal.

A logical way to end the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw would be to have their counterparts at SD Live invade their show in what could be an indelible moment. Since the 25th Anniversary would also be the go-home episode to the Royal Rumble, WWE would like to sell the pay-per-view in splendid fashion and having the blue brand crash the party could be astounding to fabricate future feuds.

WWE must try and build this feud to exploit the talent on both rosters since the focus of the show would also be to promote the Royal Rumble. Expect a colossal segment amalgamated with a thunderous brawl between the two brands. The clash would not only end the show on fire but would also promote the pay-per-view in a big way.

#2 Austin 3:16 meets the Universal Champion & the Challengers

Whenever Stone Cold Steve Austin shows up in the WWE, he raises hell and causes mayhem like no other. The man has a magnetic personality and is perhaps the most popular star ever to grace the wrestling business. He is scheduled to show up this Monday Night on Raw and it is possible that a certain 'Beast' will interrupt him.

An interaction between the most popular star of the 'Attitude Era' & the most popular star of the not-so-appreciated 'PG Era' could be historic. A chilling interruption by 'the Monster Among Men' & 'the Big Red Machine' could be an icing on the cake for the WWE Universe. The very reason for this confrontation should be to put Braun Strowman over as a top guy since the monster has been on fire recently, especially after his vicious backstage assault two weeks ago.

While Brock & Kane would look for pay back, it would be a perfect way to have the three dominating superstars involved in a gargantuan segment with Austin. Not only would this be a monumental moment but would also work as a solid marketing for the Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble.

The Undertaker's last match came with an unfortunate loss to 'the Big Dog' and ever since then, the fans have speculated about his in-ring future and potential role with the company.

The Deadman is now scheduled to make a blockbuster appearance at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw.
