WWE possesses a roster full of talented Superstars at its disposal. One particular individual that has been constantly knocking on the door to enter the main event picture on SmackDown is Big E. One of the most 'over' WWE Superstars with fans, Big E has all the potential to main-event pay-per-views and win world titles.

Early odds for WWE Royal Rumble 2021 saw Big E as one of the favorites to win the men's match. However, with him winning the Intercontinental Championship on the final episode of SmackDown of 2020, one has to wonder whether that could affect his chances of winning the over-the-top-rope match later this month.

Nonetheless, WWE should put faith in Big E and put the Universal Championship on him by the end of 2021. With Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on RAW, it is the perfect time to build Big E up as a top singles competitor.

If Big E is not the one to dethrone Roman Reigns, it would be an interesting idea to turn him heel and bring back the 'five counts' gimmick that he made popular during his early days in NXT and then win the Universal title from whoever is the champion at that time.
