Jinder Mahal shocked the world back at Backlash when he defeated Randy Orton to claim the WWE Championship. Ever since then the former 3MB member has been able to successfully defend the Championship against the threats of both Baron Corbin and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Mahal faced Nakamura once again at Hell in a Cell and it's thought that if Mahal is able to find a way past The Artist once again, then it would take someone like John Cena to step up and finally defeat Mahal and take away the Championship. Even if Jinder isn't the star with the Championship at the time, Cena has already shown that he can put on a five-star match against Nakamura if it comes down to it.
